For the past few months, in addition to starting a new job as an employment service provider at Talbert House – a local non-profit – I’ve also become a contributor for Date Night Cincinnati. Touted as the Queen City’s “resource to plan a night out,” Date Night Cincinnati features restaurant reviews and information about local events, all from the perspective of the dating experience.
It probably comes as no surprise that my niche is writing about restaurants, and since September I have written two articles for the publication. Although neither of my reviews have focused on particularly thrifty restaurants, I nevertheless wanted to share these stories as they feature two excellent local dining spots. For those willing to spend a little bit more than usual for a great night out, the following restaurants are sure to be a hit.
My first piece for Date Night Cincinnati featured Inspirado, an eclectic and uniquely curated restaurant just over the river in Covington’s historic district. In addition to world flavors, locally sourced produce and exceptionally crafted dishes and drinks, the dining room displays area artwork – a great talking point for those on a date. For my second article – which was recently published in the Fall magazine – I explored the authentic Italian eats at Bella Luna. Nestled in a quiet corner of East End, Bella Luna offers a host of classic pasta, pizza and seafood dishes, along with more unique eats like the outstanding wild boar pappardelle. Sadly, the owners are retiring in January and heading to Florida, so this exceptional restaurant won’t be around much longer. Click here for the full story.
I hope you’re able to give these great restaurants a try for your next romantic night out, and be sure to check out Date Night Cincinnati for more reviews to come!
